Curley Sr. Hypolite

Parks - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 6, 2006, at St. Louis Chapel in Parks for Curley Hypolite, Sr., 93, who died Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Mr. Hypolite was a parishioner of St. Louis Chapel in Parks and also a member of the Knights of Peter Claver. Council No. 53. Survivors include his sons, Clifton Hypolite, Sr. and his wife, Velma of Parks, Curley Hypolite, Jr. and his wife, Mae Audrey of Houston, TX, Zerbin Hypolite, Sr. and his wife, Mary Ella of Parks, Joseph H. Hypolite of Parks, Troy Hypolite and his wife, Mae Ola of Houston, TX, and Joseph C. Hypolite and his wife, Shelia of Parks; his daughters, Joyce Wilson and her husband, Ira, Barbara Joseph and her husband, Shelton, and Eva Hypolite, all of Houston, TX; twenty-eight grandchildren; sixty-three great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yolande Wiltz; his son, Rubin Hypolite, Sr.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Beber Hypolite; George Hypolite, Sr. and Paul Hypolite; his sister, Georgiana Ledet; two grandsons, Joseph Kindall Hypolite and Troy Hypolite; one granddaughter, Phyllis Hypolite Taylor; and one great-great granddaughter, Dasia Rene Trevino. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:30 a.m. on Saturday at St. Louis Chapel in Parks and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
