Curley Robin

Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 2007, in Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel, in Henderson, for Curley Joseph Robin, 73, who died on Tuesday, June 18, 2007 at St. Martinville Nusing Home, in St. Martinville. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, in Henderson. His grandson, Bro. Brandon Robin, will conduct the funeral service. Mr. Robin had a great love for and enjoyed listening to Cajun and Swamp Pop music. ?He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Edith Brasseaux Robin, of Henderson; one son, Michael Robin and his wife, Donna, of St. Martinville; three daughters, Debra Robin and her husband, Tony, of Henderson, Violet Reed, and Joanna ""Josie"" Theriot and her husband, Darren, all of St. Martinville; four brothers, Wiley Robin, Sr., of Breaux Bridge, Raymond Robin, Jr., of Metairie, Clint Robin, of Henderson, and Norris Badon, of Breaux Bridge; six sisters, Geraldine ""Chick"" Allemond, of Henderson, Suzanne Pourciaux, of Breaux Bridge, Barbara Noel, Druscilla Robin, both of Henderson, Linda Brasseaux, of Breaux Bridge, and Romona Carmichael, of Lafayette; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Robin, Sr.; his mother, Olivia Theriot Robin Badon; and one brother, Aubrey Badon. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of service. Pallbearers will be Michael Robin, Brandon Robin, Chris Reed, Bruce Reed, Kent Theriot, and Kyle Theriot. Honorary pallbearers will be Reid Collette, Christopher Reed, and Kaleb Theriot. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
