Daisy Guidry Boudreaux

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Daisy Guidry Boudreaux, 91, who passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at her residence in St. Martinville. Interment will follow at St. Micahel Cemetery in St. Martinville. Fr. Leger, will conduct the services. Delores Boudreaux will read for the service. Mrs. Boudreaux was a wonderful mother, grandmother and caretaker. Survivors include her sons. William Boudreaux of St. Martinville, Wednes "Bobby" Boudreaux and his wife, Jane of Lafayette and Ray Boudreaux and his wife, Delores of Breaux Bridge; her daughters, Eve Guidry and her husband, James and Audrey Rivet and her husband, Carey, all of St. Martinville and her other daughter Susie Boudreaux; her sister, Lillian Verret; 21 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wednes Boudreaux, her parents Ojie and Sylvia Frederick Guidry; an infant daughter, Verna Mae Boudreaux, her sister, Lelia Bradford and Aurelien Broussard; her brothers, Alex and Wilson Guidry; 1 grandchild and 4 great grandchildren. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Monday and continue at 8:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pallbearers will be Cary Rivet, Mark Boudreaux, Ben Boudreaux, Karl Guidry, William Boudreaux, Jr. and Coby Bertrand. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
