Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Dale Anthony Dugas, 59, who passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm on Tuesday and continue on Wednesday at 8:00 am until 10:30 am. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Tuesday. Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Dale was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, who loved cooking and spending time with his family and friends. Dale will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Kathy Stelly Dugas; his son, Dustin Dugas; his daughter, Amy Dugas Quebedeaux and husband Caleb; a grandchild, Logan Quededeaux; his brother, Dwayne Dugas; and his sister, Harriet Dugas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Lee Dugas and Barbara Melancon Dugas. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Dugas, Dwayne Stelly, Dwayne Angelle, Ricky Stelly, Chad Miller, and Caleb Quebedeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Dugas, Logan Quededeaux, and Nicholas Stelly.
