Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Dale Paul Robin, 49, who passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at St. Martin Hospital.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:30 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday and continue on Wednesday at 7:00 am until 10:30 am.
A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 pm on Tuesday.
Rev. Travis Abadie will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Rachel Artigue and Barbara Benoit. Gift Bearers will be Menia Callandret and Heather Richard.
Entombment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville.
Dale was a member of the Lucky 12 and Whiskey Bay Hunting Clubs. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and crawfishing, and was an avid LSU and Saints football fan. Dale also owned racehorses and loved racing them every opportunity he was given.
He is survived by his parents, Bobby Joseph and Peggy Benoit Robin of Arnaudville; sister, Melissa R. Artigue and husband Brian of Arnaudville; nieces, Ali and Sydnie Artigue, of Arnaudville; nephew & Godchild, Cody Artigue and wife Rachel of Baton Rouge; a great niece, Elena; and two great nephews on-the-way.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ismael and Alma Robin; maternal grandparents, Leo and Laura Benoit; brother, Brad Robin; and a niece, Abigail E. Artigue.
Pallbearers will be Brian Artigue, Cody Artigue, Glenn Knott, Mike Benoit, Richard Robin, and Lucus Robin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cheryl Knott Richard, Curley Benoit, Clarence Benoit, Russell Benoit, and Allen Robin, Sr.
