Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Dalton "Swit" Pierre Landry, 91, who passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018, at Landmark of Acadiana Nursing Home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm on Monday and continue on Tuesday at 8:00 am until 10:30 am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday.
Rev. Brian Taylor will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Dalton enjoyed fishing, hunting, dancing, Saints football, listening to Cajun music and spending time with his family and friends. He was a noble man who never had anything bad to say about anyone. He will be remembered for his kind heart, leading by example and his love for sweet treats. Dalton will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sons, Kenneth Landry and wife Saleema of Lafayette, Gary Landry and wife Kim of Lafayette; daughters, Patsy L. Delcambre and husband Henry of Breaux Bridge, Brenda L. Fuselier and husband Steve of St. Martinville; brothers, Wilbert Landry and wife Georgie, Albert Landry and his companion, Lynn, Nelson Landry and wife Maude, Harry Lee Landry and wife Nell, and Clayton Landry and wife Debbie; sister in law, Doris Landry; grandchildren, Kenneth Delcambre and spouse Mitzi, Angela Delcambre, Sandy Trosclair and spouse Harold, Nicole Landry, Steve Fuselier, Jr. and spouse Tammy, Jessica Abboud and spouse Steven, Lauren L. Page and spouse Ryan, Brittany Broussard and spouse Blake, Michelle Patton and spouse Brian, and Monica Miller and spouse Coy; and his great-grandchildren, Kara, Matthew, and Emily Delcambre, Heather Lones, Mitch Coleman, Hope, Catherine, and Conner Broussard, Richard Dalton, and Farrah Abboud, Taylor Woods, Kayla Patton, Cobie Patton, Rylie Istre, Kamy and Beau Trosclair, Carson Fuselier, and Landry Katherine and Lillian Frances Page.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nube Hebert Landry; second wife, Jean Morvant; father; Antoine Landry; mother, Rose Noel Landry; brothers, Wilson, Remy, and Willis Landry; and sister, Rita Landry.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Page, Kenneth Delcambre, Steve Fuselier Jr., Blake Broussard, Steven Abboud, and Beau Trosclair.
