VIEWVIDEOTRIBUTE New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2007, at Pellerin Funerl Home Chapel in New Iberia for Dalton John Pratt, 73, who died at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, May 4, 2007 at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia. Mr. Pratt was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. His enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Patricia "Pat" Landry Pratt, of New Iberia; two sons, Troy Pratt and his wife, Carla, of New Iberia, and Randy Pratt and his wife, Jill, of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Wana Louviere, and her husband, Buddy, of New Iberia; five grandchildren, Traci and Colton Pratt, Amber and Brennan Pratt, and Angelle Louviere; one great granddaughter, Caitlin Pratt; and his mother-in-law, Angela "Tut" Romero. He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Eunice Broussard Pratt; his brother, Dudley Pratt; two sisters, Audrey Lane and Ida Broom; his granddaughter, Calli Angelle Pratt; and his father-in-law, Lonnie Landry. The family requested that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 9:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, by Donna Gary, Andre Gary, and Shelby Gary. Honored to serve as pallbearers are, Troy Pratt, Randy Pratt, Colton Pratt, Brennan Pratt, Buddy Louviere, and Pat Weathersby. Honorary pallbearers will be his godchild, Craig Rivette, Wilton Delahoussaye, Tad Menard, and Todd Gary. Pellerin Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
