Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Damein Andre' Johnson, 18, who died on Monday, April 15, 2013. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5 pm until 10 pm on Tuesday, and continue on Wednesday at 7 am until 1:15 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Tuesday. Fr. Lawrence Abara will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Jake Savoy and Kamille Taylor. Gift Bearer will be Jude Mequet and Micah Huval. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson. He is survived by his parents, P.J. and Michelle LeBlanc Johnson; his sister, Ronny Wiltz (Lucas JeJeune); and maternal grandparents, John Gerald and Geraldine Courville LeBlanc He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Laurance Joseph Johnson and Ida Mae Devillier; and his uncle, Robert Elston LeBlanc. Pallbearers will be Josh Guidry, Joe Stute, Micah Meche, Duke Thibodeaux, Sang Tach, and Stacy Green. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breau x Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
