Damian "Dee" Paul Skipper

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm, on Friday, July 3, 2015, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Damian Paul Dee Skipper, 41, who passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 am until 1:30 pm on Friday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 12:30 pm on Friday. Deacon James Davis will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Damian "Mr. D" was currently employed with United States Environmental Services (USES). He was known for being a fashionable trend-setter, an extreme jokester, and loved watching Karate and Kung-Fu movies. He was an all-around fun person and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Meshell Hale Skipper; parents, John and Linda Skipper; daughters, Joy Hale, Nya Skipper, Kennedy, Janaquia, and Alani; sons, Loren, Tyler, and Carson; and his sister, Japarri Skipper Sonnier and her husband Jamie. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Malcolm and Mary Clement, paternal grandparents, Joseph Alton and Mary Margaret Thibodeaux; aunts, Merline Clement, Marie "Nanette" Thibodeaux, and Sharon Skipper; and nieces, Aerilyn Sonnier and Amber Hale. Pallbearers will be Eric Skipper, Kendall Derouselle, Michael Durand, Alex Derouselle, Andrew Demouchet, and Jamie Sonnier.
