Lafayette - A cremation ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Lafayette Crematory in Lafayette for Dang Tran, 84, who passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, in New Iberia. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 am until 12:45 pm. Survivors include his wife, Tuyet Nga Thi Nguyen; daughters, Nancy Tran of New Iberia, My Thi Tran and husband Hun Van Ho of New Iberia; sons, Do Dinh Tran and wife Hien Thi Nguyen of Houston, Texas, Peter Tran and wife Loan Phan of Dallas, Texas; brother, Vinh Dinh Tran of Houston, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David Tran, Peter Tran, Huu Ho, Duc Ho, Steven Tran, and Michael Tran.
