New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, on Sunday, September 20, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Daniel M. Babineaux, 57, who passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, in Lafayette. Deacon Theo Landry will officiate. Interment will be at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 3:30 PM until 7:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary, led by Deacon Wade Broussard, will be prayed at 6:00 PM on Saturday. Visitation will continue on Sunday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Survivors include his sisters, Jeanne Elmer and husband Walter R. Elmer, Jr. of New Iberia, Sheryl Cross of Mandeville; brothers, Marc Babineaux and wife Tammy of Addison, Texas, Dale Babineaux and wife Jane of Deridder, Thomas Babineaux and wife Brenda of Loreauville; sister-in-law, Doreen Babineaux of New Iberia; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father, Claude Michael Babineaux; mother, Leona Webster Babineaux; brother, Charles Babineaux; and a nephew, Walter R. Elmer, III.
