New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 13, 2009, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Daniel "Danny" Polk, 64, who passed away on Monday, December 7, 2009 in New Iberia. Pastor Andrew Champagne will officiate. Survivors include his mother, Mary Cartimiglia Polk of New Iberia; brother, Ivan Polk and wife Phyllis of New Iberia; nephews, Gerald Jones Polk, Robert M. Polk and wife April all of Birmingham, Alabama; great nieces, Emily Polk and Skyler Polk. He was preceded in death by his father, Jones Polk. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 9:30 AM until 2:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia.
