Darlene Marie Guidroz Domingue

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 6, 2017, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Darlene Marie Domingue, 58, who passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 8:00 am until 10:30 am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Darlene was a selfless, kind, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and baking and loved to go camping and fishing with family and friends. Darlene lived for her grandkids. She will be remembered for her big heart, her kind ways, and her love for others. Darlene will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Patrick Domingue; son, Richard Olivier and girlfriend, Marlena Menthes; daughters, Ashley Cormier and husband Steven, and Anna Domingue; father, Wedess Guidroz and wife Karry; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by mother, Bertha Girard Guidroz; maternal grandparents, Jules, Sr. and Marie Girard; and paternal grandparents, Baptiste and Mabel Guidroz. Pallbearers will be Richard Olivier, Steven Cormier, Jacques LeBlanc, Elliott Smith, Lane Bergeron, and Glenn David. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
