Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Daryl "Touché'' James Wiltz, 57, who passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at West Jefferson Hospital.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Thursday.
A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Thursday.
Deacon James Davis will officiate at the Funeral Mass. The reader will be Francine LeBlanc. Interment will follow at a later date.
Daryl, known to many as "Touché" was born April 8, 1963. He worked in the auto business for many years. His most recent employment was at Acadiana Dodge as a parts runner and detailer. He enjoyed videography, electronics, listening to music, and going to the casino. Touché also liked thrift shopping, going to garage sales, and finding a great deal or a new find. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Hazel "OG" M. Wiltz; son, Tamron M. Alexander; friend and former spouse, Connie Garrett; two brothers, Alvin "Vinnie" Lewis (Mary) and Sydney Ray Sylvester; six sisters, Cynthia Wiltz, Cheryl Wiltz Calais, Jessica Wiltz, Yvette Joseph (Kenneth), Nicole Damond and Keshia Damond; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin 'BaDo" Lewis; paternal grandmother, Mary Ann Potier; paternal grandfather, Freddie Wiltz; maternal grandmother, Mable Vallier; maternal grandfather, Brad Lewis; great grandfather, Joseph Potier; nanny, Mary C. Jones; and his aunt, Iola Green.
Pallbearers will be Blake Foster, Alvin "Vinnie" Lewis, Terrance Calais, Thaddeus Wiltz, Ovalton Broussard and Timothy Garrett.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tamron M. Alexander, Emmanuel Wiltz, John Williams, and Roy Batiste.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at W. Jefferson Medical Center for the excellent care given to Daryl. In keeping with Daryl's loving and generous spirit, it was his decision to donate life so others may live it.
