Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for David Wayne Hypolite, 41, who passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at his residence.
Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
Rev. James Fallon, SSJ will conduct the services.
David graduated from Breaux Bridge Senior High School and Remington Technical College in computer programming. He worked for Auto Zone for ten years and after completing college he went to work for Coca-Cola as a service technician. David enjoyed music, playing video games, cooking and computers.
Survivors include his wife, Stacy Boyd Hypolite of Cecilia; his mother, Alma Marie Hypolite Alexander of Breaux Bridge; his step-father, Joseph M. Alexander of Breaux Bridge; two sons, David Kerrick Hypolite, Jr., of Cecilia, and Daniel Solomon of Breaux Bridge; two daughters, Denezh Gregory of Breaux Bridge, and Briana Hypolite of Cecilia; his step brothers, Jonathan, Kevin, Carl Henry Jr. Prejean, of Lafayette, and Michael Alexander of Florida; his sister, Annette Simmons; his grandchild, Kylin Gregory; his niece, Ashad Lewis, and his dear friend, Carolyn Green.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Prejean, Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Pete and Effie Prejean and Caffery and Agnes Alexander; his maternal grandparents, Harry and Elsie Hypolite; and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2010.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Joseph Green, Arthur Sassau, Jonathan Prejean, Kevin Prejean, Carl Prejean, and Henry Prejean, Jr.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
