VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Breaux Bridge- Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday July 2, 2009 at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for David "Buddy" Lester, Jr., 19, who passed away on June 27, 2009 in Breaux Bridge. Buddy was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed having campouts, telling stories, trapping crawfish, watching movies, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Buddy was a great son, grandson, brother, cousin, and friend. He was a very hard worker and was always there to give a helping hand; he was someone that you could always depend on. Buddy was a full time student at South Louisiana Community College majoring in Business Management and also worked a part time job. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Survivors include his parents, David and Carla Lester, Sr. of Breaux Bridge; one brother, Bo Jared Lester of Breaux Bridge; his paternal grandparents, Willie and Leota Lester of Breaux Bridge; 5 uncles, Charles and Ruby Lester of Breaux Bridge, Glen Lester of Breaux Bridge, John and Barbara Boudreaux of Breaux Bridge, Brian Boudreaux of Breaux Bridge, and Clyde and Ginger Boudreaux of Carencro; 2 aunts, Sally Costley of Breaux Bridge and Melanie Guidry of St. Cloud, FL. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Necess and Nora Boudreaux; and one uncle, Samuel Boudreaux. The family request that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home 1:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The family would like to invite friends to join them in a dispersion ceremony at Buddy's Camp under the Oak Tree on Bergeron Road in Breaux Bridge directly following the memorial service at the funeral home.
