Safely Home - I am home in Heaven, dear ones; Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last. Did you wonder I so calmly trod the valley of the shad, Oh! but Jesus' love illuminated every dark and fearful glad. And He came Himself to meet me in that way so hard to tread; And with Jesus' arm to lean on, Could I have one doubt or dread? Then you must not grieve so sorely, For I love you dearly still; Try to look beyond earth's shadows, Pray to trust our Father's will. There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idly stand; do it now, while life remaineth - You shall rest in Jesus' land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you home; Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come!

David Wayne Skipper better known as Keyo was a kind and gentle soul who will be remembered with kind thoughts of his good will along with his colorful personality. While few knew David we all knew Keyo. A unique personality capped off with a larger than life heart. In life he only wanted to bring joy in his own way to everybody he knew. It was evident in the effort he gave when washing cars and the presence he presented when walking into a room. We should be so lucky as to have a soul as pure as his but at least we got a chance to witness the love, life, and laughter that he embodied. David Wayne aka Keyo Skipper is somewhere making others laugh and that's the memory of him we should cherish going forward.
He is survived by daughters, Desiree Skipper, Jasmine Robertson and Ashlynn Turpeau; son, Mason Turpeau; mother, Shirley Skipper; brothers, Donald Skipper (Nancy), Todd Skipper and Theodore Skipper (Angela); sisters, Sherrydean Hill and Shelley Bourda (Louis); and grandchild, Jaylen Cobbs.
He was preceded in death by father, Sherry Joseph Skipper; paternal grandfather, Clarence Skipper, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Albertine Skipper; maternal grandmother, Florita Polite; and maternal grandfather, Muller Polite.
Pallbearers will be Bernard Mitchell, Jr., Marlon Gardner, Reginald Ebow, Reginald Hill, Jr., Brian Hill and Calvin Ledet.
