David Patrick Ventress

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for David "Zeno" Patrick Ventress, 58, who passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Monday, and continue on Tuesday at 7:00 am until 11:30 am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. David had 40 years of experience working with the railroad and managed many titles during his tenure. He was currently employed with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. David enjoyed traveling, hunting and the outdoors. He will be remembered as a "jack of all trades", and for his unconditional love he had for his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored. He is survived by his son, Tyler Ventress and wife Ashley of Arnaudville; daughters, Kassidy Angelle and husband Brock of Cecilia, Kristin Carle and husband Joseph of Broussard, and Kayle Dore' and husband Kyle of Broussard; sisters, Cynthia "Sissy" Quebedeaux of Henderson, Patricia Feigler and husband Michael of Breaux Bridge, and Tammy Ventress of St. Martinville; grandchildren, Colton Carle, Stella Carle, Braxton Angelle, Ahni Ventress, Cru' Ventress and Weslee Dore'; and companion, Emily Sange of Houma, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Patrick and Marguerite "Margaret" Mason Ventress; uncle and aunt, Nelson and Aline Mason. Pallbearers will be Tyler Ventress, Ty Collette, Randall Collette, Kyle Dore', Brock Angelle, and Joseph Carle. Honorary pallbearers will be Roddy Collette and Wayne Begnaud.
