David W Viator

Coteau- Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for David W. Viator, 60, who passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 in Coteau. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Deacon Theo Landry will officiate. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Delcambre. A native of New Iberia, David was born on January 19, 1955, and was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High. He worked in the oilfield, and his hobbies included playing pool, cooking, riding motorcycles and watching his grandchildren. David also coached little league baseball and peewee football, and did catering with his sister. He is survived by his sons, Cody Viator and wife Beth of New Iberia, and Jeremy Viator of Erath; brother, Corey Viator and wife Dena of New Iberia; sisters, Nancy Davis and husband Joey of New Iberia, Jody Davis and husband Kerry of New Iberia; grandchildren, Trevor Viator, Paityn Viator, and Sean Richard. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Viator,and his mother, Heneritta Delcambre Viator. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Viator, Cody Viator, Brian Hargrave, Corey Viator, Pete Davis, and Kevin Darby. Honorary pallbearers include Trevor Viator, Sean Richard, and Lester Darby.
