Broussard - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, October 17, 2009, at Our Savior's Church in Broussard for Dax Matthew Landry, 7 days old, son of Christopher J. and Paige Duplantis Landry, of St. Martinville, who died on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Women's & Children's Hospital in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Pastor Jacob Aranza will conduct the funeral service. Dax is also survived by his sister, Miyon Marie Landry; paternal grandfather, Elias Landry; maternal grandparents, Walter and Frances Duplantis; paternal great grandfather, Roger Goulas; maternal great grandfather, Hubert "Bee" Hulin; and a loving family of aunts, uncles, god parents, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Debbie Goulas Landry; paternal great grandmother, Carolyn Goulas; maternal great grandmother, Lorena Hulin; paternal great grandparents, Evely and Gerard Landry; and maternal great grandparents, Sadie and Gayton Duplantis. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and continue at 9 a.m. on Saturday until 12 noon. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
