Gifts bearers will be Amelie Prados, Elise Williams and Bevyn Landry. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Dayne loved life and lived it to the fullest, not even letting the disease that took his life stop him until the very end. In his younger years, Dayne enjoyed riding horses and trail riding with family and friends. He was a part of a trail riding club that called themselves the F Troop. As the years went by, he expanded to traveling and camping, from the Mississippi Gulf Coast beaches to the banks of Lake Degray, Arkansas, there was always fun to be had. Always the life of the party, Dayne met no stranger. He also carried on the family tradition of making homemade boudin and cracklins, some of the best around and this went right along with his love for hosting cookouts with family and friends. His laughter was contagious and when you were around you could not help but join in. Dayne was employed by the St. Martin Parish School Board for 33 years as a bus driver, anytime he saw a former student they were glad to stop and say, "Hey Mr. Dayne!". He was also an employee of Shamrock Office Supply for over 25 years. The family would like to extend a special thank you and amazing amount of gratitude to Cheryl Begnaud, Kim Douet, II, Aubrey Trimble, and Lisa Romero for being part of his support system and making sure he was taken care of every day until the very end and also the staff of NSI Hospice, Shannon Guidry, Emmy Hebert, Rose Potier, and Paul Broussard. Dayne will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving spouse of 43 years, Kathy Huval; daughter, Tammy Trimble and husband Billy; grandchild, Aubrey Trimble and fianc Genee; great grandchildren, Amelie Prados and Elise Williams; sister, Vicki Badon and husband Norris; brother, Darin Huval and wife Regina; sister-in-law, Cheryl Begnaud; brother-in-law, Leroy Begnaud and spouse Ginger; godchild, Stacey Landry; nephews, Kim Douet, II, Kalem Douet, Shawn Bergeron, Chuppy Begnaud, and Jude Huval; and nieces, Chelsea Huval and Nichelle Bourque.
