Deanna Hebert

Cecilia- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 29, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church - Cecilia honoring the life of Deanna M. Hebert, 81, who passed away on March 20, 2025 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.

A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia on Saturday from 8:30 AM to 10:45 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 AM on Saturday.

Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the funeral mass.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Deanna was born on June 7, 1943 in Breaux Bridge. Living with special needs, Deanna's strength and spirit inspired those around her. She possessed an immense love for her family, and she especially treasured her nieces and nephews, who brought endless joy to her life. She found happiness in the simple pleasures: caring for her plants, listening to music, dancing to her favorite songs, and eating a good meal. She was known to savor a good meal, often enjoying time spent with loved ones around the dining table. In honoring Deanna's memory, we encourage all who knew her to reflect on the joy she brought into their lives and to carry forth her legacy of love, resilience, and appreciation for the simple moments that make life truly beautiful. She will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her sister, Johanna Hebert Periou; brother, James Hebert (Shirley); sister-in-law, Diana Guidry Hebert; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Laura Angelle Hebert; brothers, John Hebert andFrancis Hebert; sister-in-law, Morella Guidry Hebert; brother-in-law, Warren Periou; and nephew, Tyler Hebert.
