Debbie "Memaw" Johnson Noel
Leonville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 8, 2019, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville for Debbie "Memaw" Johnson Noel, 59, who passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday from 7:00 am until 12:00 pm.
A Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 pm on Sunday.
Rev. Darren Eldridge will be the Celebrant. Readers will be Ashley Jones and Kimberly Quebedeaux. Gift bearers will be Saxon Latiolais and Jarrod Courville.
Interment will follow at St. Leo the Great Cemetery in Leonville.
Debbie was employed at Wal-Mart for 11 years as a Customer Service Manager. She enjoyed camping, swimming, gardening, and staying very organized. Debbie was better known as, "Memaw" to her grandchildren and family and she cherished her time spent with them. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her companion and love of her life, Jerry Brown; son, Corey Courville; daughters, Tabatha Miller and husband Robert and Tiffany Lecoq and husband Elmo; mother, Velma Arnaud Johnson; sister, Darlene Jones and companion Calvin Andre; grandchildren, Kimberly Quebedeaux and fiancé Michael Vincent, Gage Quebedeaux, Tyler Perrodin and wife Katlyn, Taylor Perrodin, Jared Courville, Chloe Courville, and Saxon Latiolais; great grandchildren, Braylon Perrodin, Aubrey Perrodin, Greyson Perrodin, Elise Quebedeaux, and Laken Moreno; niece, Ashley Jones; and nephew, Clifford Boyer.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Johnson; and one sister, Donna Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Brown, Corey Courville, Gage Quebedeaux, Tyler Perrodin, Robert Miller, and Elmo Lecoq.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jared Courville, Braylon Perrodin, Michael Vincent, and Saxon Latiolais.
