Breaux Bridge A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Debra Joan Blanchard, 58, who passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 2:30 pm. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Memorial Service. Debra was employed by the City of Breaux Bridge for many years, working as a Water Plant Operator. She enjoyed her job when she was able to work. As a pastime, Debra enjoyed watching TV, cooking and spending time with her grandkids. She is survived by her mother, Annie Ruth Blanchard; her daughter, Amanda Squyres and husband, Kevin; her son, Alvin Joseph Norris; her step son, Travis LeBlanc and wife, Tara; her brother, Tony Blanchard and wife, Tonia; her sisters, Melony Bianchini and husband, Lawrence, Sabrina Malorin and husband, John Terry, and Eileen Lormand; and five grandchildren, Jasmyne Squyres, Joslyn Squyres, Tristan Norris, Dylan LeBlanc, and Nick Hayes. She is preceded in death by her father, Alvin "White" Blanchard; an infant brother, Dwayne "Bubba" Blanchard; and a great niece, Gabrielle Miller.
