Della Romero Hebert

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 7, 2007, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, in St. Martinville for Della Romero Hebert, 89, who died on Monday, June 4, 2007 at St. Martinville Nursing Home Care Center in St. Martinville. Entombment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Della owned Hebert's caf for 32 years in St. Martinville with her loving and stubborn husband, Otis. Survivors include her son, Dr. Richard Hebert of Montgomery, Alabama; her daughter, Janelle Hebert Gaye and her husband, Jean of St. Martinville; her grandchildren, Pastor Brian Hebert, Debra Hebert and Joseph Lockhart; her great grandchildren, Stacy, Sterling and Dylan Hebert. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elodias Romero and Noemie LaSalle Romero; her husband, Otis Hebert; her son, Otis James Hebert; her brother, Robert Romero; her sisters, Lena Segura, Marie Blanchard and Lilly Roseberry; and her daughter in law Georgia Ann Hebert. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 a.m., Thursday, June 7, 2007 until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m., Thursday. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
