Delores Anna D. Stelly

Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 3, 2023, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Delores Anna D. Stelly, 92, who passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. 

Visiting hours will be held at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville on Monday from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm. 

Father Travis Abadie will officiate the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery. 

Delores was a Senior Companion, where she spent time with the elderly for four hours a day. She also often assisted others with their doctor appointments, grocery shopping and errands. Delores enjoyed cooking and crocheting blankets for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Delores will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and her love for those in need.  

She is survived by her daughter, Maggia Gordon (Robert); son, Randy Prejean (Maxine); brother, A.J. Douget (Joan); six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Voorhies Stelly, Sr.; son, Christopher Prejean; and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Douget. 

Pallbearers will be Robert Gordon, Toby Degeyter, Tagen Degeyter, Tanner Degeyter, Jannson Boudreaux, and Peyton Douget. 

Pellerin Funeral Home, 314 St. Landry St., Arnaudville, LA 70512 is in charge of arrangements.
