New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Wednesday August 7, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia for Delta Viator Boudreaux, 81, who died Saturday, August 3, 2013, in Lafayette. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Edward Duhon will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 4:30 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Tuesday. Visitation will continue Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM. A lifelong resident of New Iberia, Delta was born on December 31, 1931 in Vermilion Parish. Delta enjoyed bingo and cooking for everyone. The time she spent with her family brought great joy to her life and theirs. She is survived by her children, Danny Boudreaux of New Iberia, Peter Boudreaux, Timothy Boudreaux, both of Lafayette, Sarah Boudreaux, her husband Karl, Elizabeth 'Liz' Landry, her husband Willard, Mary Alice Maturin, her husband Albert, all of New Iberia; her brother, Wilbert Viator of New Iberia; her 15 Grandchildren, 10 Great grandchildren and 1 due to arrive in September. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton Boudreaux; her parents, Claude and Thelda Bourque Viator; her son, Anthony Boudreaux; her grandson, Justin Boudreaux; her sisters, Wilda Primeaux, Pearly Richard; her brothers, Edmar Viator, Xavier Viator and Claude Viator, Jr. Pallbearers include John Landry, Terry Landry, Markus Landry, Willard Landry, II, Ryan Boudreaux and Karl Boudreaux.
