Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1 :00 p.m. , on Monday, August 16, 2010 , at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge , for Denise Blanchard, 39, who passed away on Friday, August 13, 2010 . Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge . Denise enjoyed reading, shopping, baking, hunting and playing with her puppy, Sasha. She also loved teaching religion at Christian Life Assembly and being a youth group sponsor. She will be deeply missed by all her family. Survivors include her mother, Wanda Kilchrist and her husband, Jim, of Scott; her father, Dennis Hendrick of Clegg, TX; her daughters, Kylie Johnson (Clay Bergeron) and Amber Blanchard, all of Breaux Bridge; her step daughters, Jill Blanchard of Breaux Bridge and Jana Blanchard of Arizona; her daughter in law, Becky Blanchard; her sister, Michelle Guidry of Cecilia and her grandchildren, Brooklyn Blanchard and Braelyn Blanchard. She was preceded in death by her son, Brock Blanchard; her brother, Paul Dennis Hendrick and her grandfathers, Clayvon Hebert and Paul Hendrick. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 9:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday. Pallbearers will be Tralyn Guidry, Tristan Guidry, Clay Bergeron, Nicholas Leger, Buddy Johnson and Jim Kilchrist. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
