Dennis Seneca

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Thursday, October 21, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Dennis Joseph Seneca, 55, who died on Sunday, October 17, 2010. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Fr. Michael Delcambre will officiate at the funeral service. Scriptures will be read by Leval Benoit and Francine Dupre. Dennis worked in the pipeline industry for 28 years. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, and working in his yard to create a pleasant surrounding of beautiful flowers for his family to enjoy when theyd come over to visit. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, who loved spending time with this family, grandchildren, and friends, but most especially his loving wife of 35 wonderful years, Jessica, who stayed by his side during his illness - she was his strength throughout this time. Survivors include his wife, Jessica Latiolais Seneca of Breaux Bridge ; one son, Corey Seneca, of Breaux Bridge ; two brothers, Wayne Seneca of Henderson, and Clyde Seneca and his wife, Cindy, of Lafayette ; and two grandchildren, Brooke and Baylon Seneca. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rand and Marie Louise Dupuis Seneca; and two brothers, Ralph and Roy Seneca. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesday and continue on Thursday at 7 a .m. until 12:30 p.m. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Ken Soignier at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Corey Seneca, Clyde Seneca, Kenneth Guidry, Craig Latiolais, Waylan Seneca, John Wiford, and Ryan Dupre. Honorary pallbearer will be Baylon Seneca.
