Dennis Smith, Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Dennis Smith, Jr., 64, who passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at his daughter’s residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Dennis loved fishing, gardening, cooking, and working on outboard motors. As a pastime enjoyment, you could find him riding his motorcycle with a smile on his face that expressed "This is the good life". He always put his family first and made sure they had what they needed in life. Dennis will be sadly missed by family, friends, and everyone’s life he touched.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita LeBlanc Smith; son, Dennis Smith III (Aimee Guidry); three daughters, Jaclyn Alleman, Magan Smith (Josh Guilbeaux), and Kayla Bonin (Jeremy Fontenot); grandchildren, Alexis, Bailey, and Chloe Alleman, Kristian Prejean, Blaze Smith, and Crystal Guidry, Aiden, Jaci, Trinity, Taven, Harper Bonin and Jett Fontenot; 9 brothers and 9 sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Eva Rose Marceaux Smith; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and his son-in-law, Joshua Alleman.
