Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Dennis Thibodeaux, 81, who passed away on Monday, June 14, 2010 at his residence. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include his wife, Rada Pellerin Thibodeaux, of Breaux Bridge; one son, Gerald Quinton Murray and his wife, Joan, of Toledo Bend, LA; one daughter, Gloria Jean Salvaggio of Missoula, Montana; four sisters, Mildred Soignier of Broussard, Mable Muscarello of Chalmette, Joyce Meche of Henderson, and Linda West of North Carolina; two brothers, Lawrence Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge and Raymond Thibodeaux of Texas; one step brother, Bernell Martin of Crowley; four grandchildren, Jamie Louviere, Jonah Salvaggio, David Salvaggio, and Nicole Salvaggio; and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Blanch Babin Thibodeaux; his sister, Mary Ann Usie; step sister, Jean Martin; and two brothers, Earl and Lionel Thibodeaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. The family would like to extend special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice for their care and compassion during his illness. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
