Dewey Joseph Patin

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Dewey Joseph Patin, 98, who died Monday, September 18, 2006 at his residence in St. Martinville. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include one son, Carol Patin and his wife, Janet of St. Martinville; three daughters, Molly Pellegrin and her husband, Dennis of St. Martinville, Velma Carline of Lafayette and Lucille Russo and her husband, Wayne of St. Martinville; three brothers, Gaston Patin, Andrew Patin, both of Baton Rouge, and Claude Patin of Lafayette; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lilly Hayes Patin; his parents, Alfred and Lucille Robertson Patin; six brothers, O'Neil, Widley, Harold, Thomas, Davis and Harry Patin; and three sisters, Laurence Patin, Edith Patin and Anne Catalino. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
