New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Friday, January 18, 2008, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, in New Iberia for Dianne Marie Pellerin, 60, who died Wednesday, January 16, 2008 in Lafayette.
Entombment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum.
Msgr. Richard Greene will be the Celebrant.
A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Pellerin was a sales representative for Armstrong McCall Beauty Supply and was a former hairdresser. She enjoyed gardening, working with crafts, going the casino, and most of all spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Pellerin, Sr. of New Iberia; mother, Jeanne LeBlanc Bonin of New Iberia; sons, Richard Pellerin, Jr. and wife Margaret of New Iberia, Kevin "Tope" Pellerin and wife Crystal of Parks, Chad Pellerin and wife Lindsay of New Iberia; daughter, Leah Ford of Portland, Oregon; sister, Jessie Nelson and husband Dave of New Iberia; brother, Louis Bonin, Jr. and wife Tammy of New Iberia; grandchildren, Heather Baublit, Shainah Ford, Cameron Pellerin, Conner Pellerin, Harbor Pellerin, Dominique Pellerin; great grandchild, Regan Baublit.
She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Bonin, Sr. and a daughter, Rochelle Pellerin.
Pallbearers will be Louis Bonin, Jr., Chancey Nelson, Dave Nelson, Richard Daigle, Harlan Baublit, Kevin Pellerin, and Doug Armentor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Pellerin's grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Thursday. Visitation will continue Thursday from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
