Dieu Donne LeBlanc

Catahoula - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula, for Dieu Donne LeBlanc, 73, who passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Dion Hall in Catahoula from 10:30 am on Tuesday and continue 10:30 am on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Tuesday. Rev. Richard Fabre will officiate at the funeral service. Scriptures will be read by Darlene Baker. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula. Mr. LeBlanc worked as a Boat Captain for many years. He loved doing mechanic work and going shrimping. He is survived by his wife, Janet Bonin LeBlanc; two sons, Jerry Dale LeBlanc and wife, Tina Picard, and Treylin LeBlanc; three daughters, Wanda L. Doucet and husband, Paul, Jr., Juanita L. Smith and husband, Dennis, Jr., and daughter, Patricia L. Noel and husband, Eric; he also raised, Rena Bonin Baudoin and husband, David, Sandy Bonin, and Randy Bonin. He is also survived by one brother, Gerald LeBlanc and companion, Tommy Decoux; five sisters, Donna Dieu Mitchell and husband, Michael, Mary Rose Domingue and husband, Patrick, Betty Aucoin and husband, George, Shirley Billiot and husband, Charlie, and Louise Blanchard and husband, Bert; 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Aristille and Arthemise Boudreaux LeBlanc; three brothers, Steven LeBlanc, Don Juan LeBlanc, and Daniel LeBlanc; and his sister, Vinus LeBlanc. Pallbearers will be Dusty Paul Doucet, Dennis Smith, III, Treylin Jude LeBlanc, Dwight Anthony LeGrand, David Baudoin, Jr., and Mickey LeBlanc, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home, (337.332.2111), is in charge of arrangements.
