New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 1, 2006, at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church in New Iberia for Dolores Bienvenu Conrad, 76, who died Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia. Readers will be Courtney Molbert and Alix Boudreaux. Gift Bearers will be Jamie Leigh Conrad and Lesley Brianne Conrad. Interment will be in Nativity of Our Lady Mausoleum in New Iberia. Mrs. Conrad was a supervisor with the State of Louisiana - Office of Community Services, Foster Care Division, focusing on Abused and Abandoned Children. Survivors include her husband, Karl D. Conrad of New Iberia; her sons, Dr. Steven A. Conrad and his wife, Mona, of Shreveport, ?J. Eric Conrad and his wife, Donna, of Flower Mound, TX, and Philip J. Conrad and his wife, Chun Hae, of McAllen, TX; her daughters, Caroline C. Boudreaux and her husband, Tim, and Katherine C. Molbert and her husband, Oscar, all of New Iberia; her brother, Gordon Bienvenu of New Orleans; and her 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jefferson and Beatrice Durand Bienvenu; and her brothers, Bernard and Lester Bienvenu. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Molbert, Benjamin Boudreaux, Clayton Conrad, John Conrad, Taylor Conrad and David Conrad. Honorary pallbearers will be Gordon Bienvenu and Dr. Douglas Sagrera. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Food for the Poor, 550 SW 12th Ave, Dept. 9662, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442.
