Dolores Marie Hulin

St. Martinville -  Dolores Marie Hulin, 95, passed away onTuesday, February 7, 2023 at Landmark of Acadiana Nursing Home. 

Dolores Marie Hulin was born on November 17, 1927, in New Orleans. For 40 years, she worked and ran Laviolette's Grocery serving everyone who walked through the doors. Her passion was to visit with her family and to watch others enjoy the food that she prepared. Dolores always had an open door and a place to stay for anyone who was in need. Dolores will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Finley (Mark); sister, Anna Mae Gauthier; grandchildren, Derek Finley (Calley), Courtney Fangue (Scott), Tristin Johnson (Skyler), and Trevor Finley; and five great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sosthene and Edna Romero Hulin; a baby brother, Curlis Hulin; her brothers, Carvis Hulin and Linton Hulin,; and her sisters, Edora Delahousaye, Annabelle Rivet, and Maureen Dugas.
