Don Clapsaddle

Lydia Private services will be held at a later date for Don Duane Clapsaddle, Jr., 70, who passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Lydia. A resident of Lydia for over 30 years, Mr. Clapsaddle was born in Fort Worth, Texas on December 16, 1947 to the late Don Clapsaddle, Sr. and Josephine Pelisek Clapsaddle. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and worked for SAS Construction. His hobbies included fishing, watching football, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his son, Jody Clapsaddle of New Iberia; daughter, Wendy Martin and husband Ched of Crestview, Florida; brother, Jon Clapsaddle and wife Sandy of Tennessee; grandchildren, Camryn Clapsaddle, Dawson Clapsaddle, Jax Clapsaddle, Noah Martin, Bryson Martin, Kayla Martin, and Carson Martin. The family would like to give special thanks to his caregiver, Ms. Rose Ronsonet.
