Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Donald Joseph Breaux , 77, who passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, and continue on Thursday at 7:00 am until 10:30 am.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Wednesday.
Rev. Randy Courville will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge.
Don was a member of CFMA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending with his family and friends. Don's favorite holiday was Mardi Gras; he loved riding on the floats, entertain his friends with a good cold miller lite. .
He is survived by his three sons, Daniel Breaux of Henderson, Mathew Breaux of Parks, Jonathon (Beverly) Breaux of Perry, GA; three daughters, Deanna (John) Breaux Theriot of Breaux Bridge, Amber B. Hebert of Breaux Bridge, Lauren (Tanya) Breaux of Breaux Bridge; three sisters, Wendy B. (Jim) Babin of Lafayette, Judy B. (Mike) Blanchard of Parks, Adeline B. (Luke) Blanchard of Breaux Bridge; 27 grandchildren, ; 27 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents , Adley Joseph and Anna Mae Dore Breaux; wife, Jean Nel Breaux; sister, Sandra Breaux Dugas; maternal grandparents, Oscar and Alice Blanchard Dore; and paternal grandparents, Paul and Adela Stoute Breaux, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Damian Courville, D.J. Breaux, Shannon Trahan, Nick Potier, Dale Breaux, Shawn Hardy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sebastian Breaux, Blaise Breaux, Cle' Breaux, Louis Anselm.
