Coteau - Donald Terry "Buddy" Hayman, 64, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017, in New Iberia.
A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia on Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 6:00PM, with Recitation of the Rosary at 4:00 PM.
Interment will follow at a later date.
Donald Terry "Buddy" Hayman was born in Delhi, LA on June 23, 1953 to the late Odis Hayman and Pearl Self. He was a longtime resident of New Iberia, and worked as a driller in the Oilfield Industry. Buddy enjoyed fishing, camping, carpentry, and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara "Tina" Henry Hayman; sons, Jason Hayman and wife Krista of Jena, LA, Daniel Hayman of Baton Rouge, and Don Hayman of Baton Rouge; daughter, Crystal McKlemurry and husband Oscar of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, June, Dillon, Brandon, Ashley, Lacey, Harley, and Jacob Hayman, and Oscar Jr. and Katelyn McKlemurry; step son, Charles Edward Martin and companion, Trish of Delcambre; step daughter, Francine Marie Martin of Coteau; step grandchildren, Casey Broussard, and Morgan, Taylor, and Nicholas Martin; a great grandchild, Caiden Broussard; and sisters, Joyce Hayman of Delhi, and Peggy Peck of Kalamazoo, MI; brothers-in-law, Walter "T-Boy" Henry and wife Brenda, and Lynn Romero and wife, Elsie; and a nephew Matthew Henry.
In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by sister, Margaret Hayman; brothers, Kenny and Russell Hayman; and a step-grandson, Brandon Martin.
