Donald J. Dore, Sr.

Coteau - Private services will be held at a later date for Donald J. Dore Sr., 69, who passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. A lifelong resident of Coteau, Donald was born on December 10, 1950 to the late Alexon and Alice Maturin Dore. He worked as a telephone technician supervisor with Gulf Gate, retiring after 30 years of service. A true outdoorsman, he loved working in his garden and cutting grass. He cherished time spent with his family and friends; he especially enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed. Mr. Dore is survived by a son, Jesse J. Dore and wife Jennifer; son-in-law, Brian Anthony Hebert; grandchildren, Joshua Hebert, Hailey Hebert, Adragon Briley, Megan Hebert, Eden Dore, Evening Dore, Brittany Hebert, Jesse J. Dore, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Miley Hebert, Jaylen Breaux, and Kolton Breaux. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Hebert Dore; a daughter, Pamela Dore Hebert; and three sons, Keith Anthony Dore, Clint J. Dore, and Donald J.
