Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 pm on Monday, March 5, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Donna Lynn Johnson Roy, 55, who passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm on Sunday and continue on Monday at 9:00 am until 2:30 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Sunday. Rev. Austin Leger will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Leo the Great Cemetery in Leonville. Donna enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, riding motorcycles, planting flowers in her garden, doing yard work, dancing, and playing pool. She cherished moments spent with her family during gatherings, but most of all, she enjoyed her time with her fur baby, Sox. She is survived by her son, Clifford Antoine Boyer, III and wife Tiffany of Vatican; mother, Velma Arnaud Johnson of Cecilia; sisters, Debra Johnson Noel and husband Jerry Brown of Cecilia, and Darlene Johnson Jones of Cecilia and companion, Calvin Andr of Rosedale; grandchildren, Nathan Boyer, Jolie Boyer, and Theresa Boyer; godchildren and nieces, Ashley Jones and Tabatha Miller and spouse Robert; niece, Tiffany Lecoq and husband Elmo; and nephew, Corey Courville. She was preceded in death by her father, James Johnson; and her grandparents. Pallbearers will be Clifford Antoine Boyer III, Nathan Boyer, Corey Courville, Henry Jones, Dennis Johnson, and Gage Quebedeaux Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Perrodin, Logan Marks, and Jerry Brown. Donnas family would like to extend special thanks to her best friend for over 30 years, Diana Allemand. Also, Brother Dave and Bronlyn Schaff with Hospice Compassus for their love and care.
