Donovan Ali Garrett

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, for Donovan Ali Garrett, 52, who passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. 

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 AM on Saturday. 

Rev. Joe Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Patriece Taylor and Courtney Taylor.

Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. 

He is survived by his children, Collins Boudreaux, Shukuara Charles, and Tahjanaye Charles; parents, Joseph Patrick and Jeanita Domonter; brother, Kendrick Garrett; and his grandchildren, Kassidy, Maddox, and Kynlee; and his niece, Madison Garrett.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Eva Domonter; and his maternal grandparents, Alton Joseph and Beulah Pitte. 

Pallbearers will be Christopher LeBlanc, Bradford Landry, Lyle Pitte, Frederick Domonter, Leadrick Pitte, and Terry Tolliver.
