Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Doresa Taylor Stelly, 59, who passed away on Monday, November 24, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Rev. Keenan Brown, Pastor of St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church will conduct the funeral service. Readers will be Bethany Daigle and Lanie Taylor. Gift bearers will be Annette Hebert and Earline Taylor. Survivors include one son, Shane Stelly; three daughters, Becky Daigle and her husband, Kevin, Paula Taylor, and Marcie Taylor, all of Arnaudville; a step son, Gregory LaLande, of Krotz Springs; three brothers, Elrick Taylor, Jr., of Opelousas, Albert Taylor, of Arnaudville, and Murnest Taylor, of Leonville; three sisters, Earline Taylor, Annette Hebert, both of Arnaudville, and Lolena Cuvas, of Mississippi; 9 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Stelly; her parents, Marcelite S. and Elrick Taylor, Sr.; two brothers, Alex Taylor, Sr. and Leo Taylor; and one sister, Ella Rose Stelly. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday and continue until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Shane Stelly, Kevin Daigle, Kevin Daigle, II, Kainin Taylor, Gregory LaLande, and James Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Taylor, Alex Taylor, Jr., and Kevin Hebert. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
