Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Doris Hollier, 85, who passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, and continue Tuesday at 8:00 am until 12:30 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday. Rev. Austin Leger will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery Doris was a member of St. John Francis Regis Ladies Altar Society. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, exercising, visiting with her family and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Barry Hollier and wife Darlene of Arnaudville, Brent Hollier and wife Miriam of Lafayette, and Kenneth Hollier of Arnaudville; daughter, Lisa Babin and husband Bill of Lafayette; brothers, C.J. Schexnayder and wife Alzile of Port Arthur, TX, Eddie Schexnayder and wife Stella of Arnaudville, James Schexnayder and wife Helen of Arnaudville, and Earl Schexnayder and wife Brenda of Arnaudville; sisters, Neva Ducote of Lafayette, Audrey Miller and husband Ernest of Houma, and Marie Stelly and husband Lionel of Leonville; grandchildren, Tyler Hollier and his wife, Jessica, Brennan Hollier and his wife, Hollie, Thomas Babin, Brody Hollier, Sarah Babin, Allison Hollier, Kristen Hollier, and Bethany Hollier; and great grandchildren, Alli Joy, Emmi Lou and Olivia Ruth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olide John Hollier, Jr., father, Cornelius James Schexnayder, Sr.; her mother, Eugenie LeBlanc Schexnayder; an infant daughter, Pamela Hollier; an infant son, Dean Hollier; and her brother, Calvin Schexnayder. Pallbearers will be Tyler Hollier, Brennan Hollier, Thomas Babin, Brody Hollier, Brent Hollier, Kenny Hollier, Barry Hollier, and Bill Babin.
