Doris Barber Spencer

Doris Barber Spencer, 60, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015. She was a member of Life Builders Church in Breaux Bridge, LA. Doris enjoyed preaching the word of God at weekly services, which was a calling to her ministry. She would go out her way to help someone in need. She loved her family and enjoyed their visits on a daily basis. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Spencer of St. Martinville, LA; her mother, Alexina Barber of Breaux Bridge, LA; her daughter, Tetanya Willaims of St. Martinville, LA; her son, Morley Thomas (LaDonna Journet) of Breaux Bridge, LA; her brothers, Carroll (Marie) Barber of Houston, TX and Darrell (Carlean) Barber of Houston, TX; her sisters, Anna Barber of Humble, TX, Alda Mae Barber of Breaux Bridge, LA, Eva Mouton of Breaux Bridge, LA, Hilda Spencer of Arnaudville, LA, and Mary Alice Malone of Seattle, WA; and her eleven grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Barber; her sister, Laurie Hypolite; and her brother, Leroy Wiltz. Pellerin Funeral Home, (337-332-2111), is in charge of arrangements.
