Doris Champagne Webre

Breaux Bridge - Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 pm, on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Doris Champagne Webre, 93, who passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Wednesday. A rosary will be prayed at 12:00 pm on Wednesday. A rosary will be prayed at 12 noon on Wednesday. Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Memorial Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Doris was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and Rosary Group at St. Bernard Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, growing roses and loved her pets. She is survived by her son, Thomas Webre of Baton Rouge, daughters, Diane W. Green of Valrico, FL and Vicki W. Oneil of Rutherfordton, NC; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Arthur (Dorothy) Champagne of Beaumont and John (Bonnie) Champagne of Lake Jackson, TX; and her sister, Verna LeBlanc of Belton, MO. She is preceded in death by her husband, Webster Webre; father, Moise Champagne; mother, Theresa Ingargolia Champagne; brother, Edward Champagne; and her grandson, Marc Green.
