New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 PM Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia for Dorothy 'Dot' F. Baranco, 79, who died on Friday, March 16, 2012 in New Iberia . Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560, 337.365.3331. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Tuesday. Visitation will continue Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 12:45 PM . Born on January 12, 1933 , Ms. 'Dot' was the daughter of Willie and Edith Monceaux Foreman. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, sewing, and gardening. She is survived by her husband, William 'Mac' McDavid of Delcambre; daughters, Angelina 'Lynn' Kilchrist and husband John Wesley Kilchrist of Coteau, Sharon B. Boyd and husband Pat Thibodeaux of New Iberia , Katherine 'Kathy' Tate of Donaldsonville, Marian B. Breaux and husband Harry G. Breaux of Knoxville , TN , Charlotte 'Tute' B. Hebert and husband Danny Hebert of Youngsville; step daughter, Monica M. Forshage and husband Tim Forshage of Pasadena, Texas; sisters, Elvie F. Duhon of Kaplan, Winnie F. Trahan of Abbeville, Joyce F. Verret of Jeanerette; sister-in-law, Juanita M. Thibodeaux of Delcambre; grandchildren, Nicole Broussard, David Boyd, Kevin Meyers, Daniel Hebert, Jr., Kami "Poupette" ;Armentor, Jared Breaux, Derek Hebert, Kiley B. Morehead, Misty T. Weisert; step grandchildren, Skyler Forshage, Gage Forshage, Collin Forshage; great grandchildren, Curtlyn Meyers, Brantley Boyd, Charles 'Charlie' Meyers, Ella E. Breaux, Lexi Weisert; and her beloved pet dog, 'Nana'. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Baranco; brother and sisters, Eunice F. Hebert, Mince Foreman, Euna Trahan; granddaughter, Christy Elizabeth Breaux; her granddaughter Nicoles husband, Brent Broussard; and her son-in-law, Bennie Tate. Pallbearers will be Daniel Hebert, Derek Hebert, Kevin Meyers, Jared Breaux, David Boyd, and Donald Meyers. Honorary pallbearers include Harry G.
