New Iberia - A Celebration of the life of Dorothy M. Daigle will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, who died on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 in New Iberia. Born on February 15, 1926, Ms. Daigle was the retired owner and operator of the Shiloh Lounge, in New Iberia. She enjoyed making new friends at Belle Teche Nursing Home, where she had been a resident since 2008. Ms. Daigle loved playing bingo, spending time with her friends, and family, especially at family gatherings where she would share her 'special potato salad'. Survivors include her daughter, Pamela S. Kenner Dore of New Iberia; grandchildren, Dr. Meghan K. Harris and husband Stuart of Shreveport, Kenneth Kenner, Jr. and wife Sherrie of New Iberia, Raynette D. Fino and husband Ronald of New Iberia, Rosalind Dore of New Iberia; great grandchildren, Hallie K. Beattie, Chase Kenner, Brennan Kenner, Luke Bulliard, Jake Wyman; great great grandchildren, Madison Beattie and Braydon Beattie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Bertha Verret Daigle; sister, Evelyn Lockard; sons-in-law, Kenneth Kenner, Sr. and Dalton A. Dore.
