Breaux Bridge A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 pm, on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Dorothy "Dot" Gauthier, 77, who passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:30 am until 2:30 pm on Wednesday. A rosary will be prayed at 2:00 pm on Wednesday. Rev. David Broussard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reader will be Elaine Juno. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette. Dot was a member of St. Bernard Church and American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, reading, attending festivals, fishing, camping, raising birds, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Greg Joseph Gauthier and his wife, Debbie Ann of Breaux Bridge; her daughters, Renay "Susie" Lucie and husband, Bryan of Breaux Bridge, Lynette Claire Lyons and husband, Daniel of Carencro, Phyllis Anne Albert and husband, Troy of Cecilia; her sister, Elaine Juneau and husband, Kenneth of Cottonport; her grandchildren, Keith J. Lyons and wife, Redessa, Claire M. Roy and husband, Stephen, Jeanne' Eli Lucie, Victoria Lucie, Averi Lucie; and her great-grandchildren, Daniel-Justice "DJ" Lyons and Kaden Lyons. She is preceded in death by her father, Leonard Chenevert, Sr.; her mother, Seraphine Gauthier Chenevert; her husband, Joseph Gauthier; and her brother, L. J.
