Arnaudville - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville in Arnaudville for Dorothy Smith Malagarie, 82, who passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018, at Evangeline Oaks Nursing Home. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday. Pastor Bud Plake will officiate at the funeral service. A resident of Arnaudville, Dorothy attended Crossroads Church. She enjoyed life, spreading joy and laughter among family and friends, never knowing a stranger. She will be greatly missed. Her family would like to thank all her medical and hospice staff for their care and support. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Lea Bourque Smith.
